Anyone have comments on 8354 35hp 8000 Series Cub?

I'm looking at the 8000 series model 8354 Cub Cadet? anyone out there have any experience/advice on this machine, vs. the Kubota? I like the shuttle shift feature, which I personally prefer over hydrostatic.

Very good tractor. Kioti makes the 8000 series tractors for Cub Cadet. If you look in the Kioti forum you will find many people who speak highly of the Kioti tractors. We sell them and obviously think highly of them. I don't think you can go wrong with 8354, just make sure you have a good dealer to give you support should anything ever happen.

I would recommend Neil Messick. He is both a Cub Cadet and a Kubota dealer. Neil should be able to give you reliability, feature and cost comparisons for both brands in an unbiased way since he would be making a commission on either machine.

He is a member here and I am pretty sure he will ship you a tractor.

Everyone who has dealings with him speaks very highly of his company. I can personally say I've had some great dealings with Neil, but I've never purchased something as large as a tractor from him.

I have owned a Kioti DK 35 for 4 years ( around 700 hours), which is basically the same machine as the Cub 8354.
I have been very pleased with my DK 35. It has been a nice, strong, reliable machine for me so far.
