Can't find much info. I believe it was early 1990's.

I'm looking for information too, really hard to find anything on this model. No manual I've seen. Information I saw in a history compilation at a website called satohparts said that the gray market models have four-digit model numbers, sometimes two-digit, but the three-digit are not gray market. Maybe, maybe not, I don't know. Let's share anything useful discovered about the 205. Seems like a good tractor. Good luck.

The later Japanese models are 3 digit.
