Application Fee?

My Kubota dealer tells me there is a $100 application fee if I need to apply for their financing. Can anyone confirm this? Nothing is mentioned on Kubota's website about an application fee. Sounds a little hokey to me.

That does not sound right to me at all...
I have dealt with KCC on several occasion and have never ran into that...
I think I would check with another dealer...

There was no application fee when I applied for the Kubota revolving credit. No down payment, no payments or interest for 180 days.

Just took delivery of a B3030 this past Friday......$20 app fee......

Thanks for the replies.

It seems that maybe the dealer is just trying to get a little extra cash. Well their plan backfired, they just lost about $16k.

I've been a Kubota dealer 16 years. Never charged anyone an application fee.
There is a Ucc fee. In NJ 50.00$, which provides a lien to Kubota Credit on the piece of equipment until paid.

I must be old school, can't charge a fee to apply.

I recently took advantage of Kubota's 0 percent for three years with my l2800 HST and LA 463 loader. NO paperwork fees.

I thought the 0%/36 had that fee from Kubota Credit Corp. No? Any comment, say perhaps from PA dealers?

I remember a fee of some sorts years ago when we built the house and applied for a construction loan.

I've never heard of an application fee for anything else.
I'd "apply" somewhere else.

Deere pulled that crap on me and I went orange with NO fee.
