Backhoe Auto Return acting funny on B20 I just bought. Is there a simple way to bypass this?

Your B20 backhoe switch circuit is controlled by an ECU. You should have a swing sensor and a swing lever sensor. If they become improperly adjusted the boom could possibly move without touching the swing lever. The ECU is located in the backhoe control tower Beside the valve. At the top of the ECU there should be two LED lights. Green and red I believe. Check to see if they are flashing with the engine running. The lights have a flash pattern and can provide different codes to ID the problem. Should be able to see the lights through the opening for the backhoe levers. There is also an adjustment to centre the boom.
At one point there was a kit to convert the B20 auto return swing circuit to a non electronic valve section. Not sure if the kit is still available.

I guess Kubota trashed that electronic crap when they upgraded to the B26. My B26 has non of the electronic crap, just spring loaded valves. If I had your problem, I would look at upgrading the control to B26 type.

Thanks Lake. I just checked and don't see any LED's on. Seems like the more I use it the more it works, however I haven't been using the backhoe lately, so it rarely swings. My dealer is looking into ordering the kit.

What is the auto return function? My BH92 attachment doesn't seem to have anything that makes me think auto return.
