That is a nice little machine - pretty impressive in person - got to see one sitting beside a
B3030 cab, and the
B26 is a very stout little TLB.
That's a great price you got, too, Sam.
Most would argue of the high cost of the
B26, so thanks on the price complement. You can't put a cab or belly mower on the
B26 TBL because of its frame and backhoe design. I am very pleased with it abilities. The only short fall in my opinion is the 19.5 hp PTO. I can live with that because my goal is construction.
As an introduction I would like to say Hello to everyone here at TractorByNet, I am new to the (TBL) Tractor Backhoe Loader operator and owner. I am an electronics and electrical engineering technician by trade. I have always be a do-it-your-self design build maintain or repair anything. It has always been a dream to build an Earth-Sheltered home to save energy and live free. We purchased the Kubota
B26 TBL to save money and avoid the disappointment from poor quality work from contractors. We simply choose to do most of the work our selves. We will be using our
B26 to build our new Earth-Shelter home in Sallisaw Oklahoma. We were going to do this in Tennessee and then Pennsylvania but the cost of land on the east cost and the commute to work prompted me to move to the country and remove much of life's stress. Some of the task the
B26 will be performing are as follows: lot clearing, driveway installation, footing/foundation installation, water line installation, septic system installation, movement of building materials and equipment with pallet forks, support of Terra-Dome super structure installation, installation of under slab utilities in home, covering our Earth-Sheltered home from east to west walls and roof, landscaping and other property improvements or maintenance activities as required.
