Hi, i posted in the owning and operating forum without much luck so can anyone tell me what this tractor 4wd, 600hrs, 4 foot grooming mower is worth he wants $3800 for it i would say it is in good condition with a few rust issues on hood and headlights don't work and tires are kind of dry rot. I thought it was a early 80's model but with some research it looks like a early to mid 90's because of the six lug rims if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. thanks

As a general rule, the older the tractor, the wider the asking price range. That's because the condition of older tractors varies a lot more than recent models.
Yeah, i don't know that it was because it sat under a tree for a year or not but the engine started first crank with a new battery and the hst seems real strong so it might be a newer model after and he has all the manuals too.

Can you get the serial number off of it? That will tell you what year model it is. If it has sat outside since the early 90's I could definately see how the tires would be dry rotted. You might want to get a price for tires and let that help decide on the purchase.
