Hey Guys, new member here
Purchased a B7500 with just over 400 hours a while back. Yesterday was running the MMM and tractor was losing power and realized the tractor was low on fuel (I know dumb mistake) but it did not run completely out of fuel, it did sputter some and immediately shut it off. Re fueled it and it fired right up. Later the mower began to lose power, at first I thought it was because the grass was tall. It would really lose RPM’s when I would try to increase speed by pressing the forward HST pedal, disengaged the pto and it still would lose power/RPM it got pretty bad. When I went to park the tractor it was idling rough and I shut it down.
What’s going on?

I do the easy stuff first. Change the fuel filter, blow out or spray out your air filters and radiator.

Take it back out with mower on and see if you can replicate the power loss. Hopefully you can’t.

Try bleeding the fuel line.

That sounds like some air got into the fuel lines. You may have to bleed the injectors to get rid of the air.
Here is a link to a problem that I had several years ago. Air leak problem

Did it lose power right after refueling, or a while after?
If it was a while after, I would not bet on it being air in the injector lines.
Either way I would check:
1. Coolant level - Check in the tank AND in the radiator
2. Radiator clogged? - Clean the screen, blow and/or wash out the fins
3. Air filter clogged? - Check the filter and make sure the intake hose isn't kinked
4. Fuel filter, possibly running low sucked enough crud into the fuel filter that its not letting enough fuel through at full flow?

The cooling system on ours is marginal when running a 60" tiller or mower and it will easily overheat if the radiator is full of dust and crud.

First, remove the supply hose on the rear of the fuel filter, hang it over a catch can, and see if you have a good stream of fuel running out of the hose. If it just dribbles, you have debris in the fuel tank. Remove the fuel cap and blow through the hose back into the fuel tank, then recheck the flow. If the flow has improved, you will need to clean out the fuel tank.

If you have a good flow from the tank, reinstall the hose onto the filter head and remove the front hose from the filter head. Do you have a good flow coming out of the filter? If not, you have a plugged filter or debris caught in the inlet side of the fuel filter head. Replace the filter and with the cup of, remove the rear hose again and blow backward through the filter head with compressed air to ensure the inlet port is clear. Reassemble, and test run the unit.

Your tractor also has a mechanical fuel lift pump. To check it, remove the outlet side hose and crank the engine over for a couple of seconds. You should get a pulse of fuel each revolution, if it just oozes or dribbles, you will need to replace the pump.
