B7510 with R4s
I am going to purchase a rake for my B7510 and am going back and forth between a 5' rake and a 6' rake. The 5' rake would cover my tread even if I angle it. Weight isn't an issue. I am considering either a Leinbach or a Land Pride. The Leinbach looks like it is very well made. I would consider a First Choice but it doesn't look like they make them anymore (I heard that they may start again soon). I am also finding that prices have gone up a lot during the last couple of years. Proabably due to stell prices I am guessing.

Does anyone have an opinion on which I should buy? Thanks.

Just a comment ... some folks don't like a rake too wide that can't spin 180° without hitting a tire or the 3PH hardware, thus requiring taking it off to turn it around. Otherwise, the bigger the better /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Cheers!

A friend of mine has a 6' King Kutter rake on his 7510. (I was thinking of buying the tractor from him, but he's since decided to keep it) I've used the combo a couple times. Seemed to work just fine. No trouble turning it around as I recall.

I would go with the 6 footer. You never know when you may want to go up in tractor size and then you would still be covered with the larger rake.
I wanted a 5 footer when I had my 7200 but the smallest the dealer had was a 6 footer. Now I have the 7800 and the 6 footer is perfect. The rear blade I had for the 7200 was a 5 footer and it was too small angled for the 7800 so I let it go with the tractor.

I would definetly buy the 6' for your tractor. I owned a 6' leinbach and was not impressed by it. The tines bent after some light duty work. the paint also flaked off after 2 years, and the rake was always inside. I sold it and bought a Woods. My brother has a 7' Land Pride, and that has been a good rake for him.

I have the same tractor, (until next week) I have the landpride 15 series 60" rake and it is a really good match for your machine. Buy the gauge wheels !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
