I generally just haul one larger or several smaller logs at the time because of possible turning issues with my
B7510. I have pulled birch, maple, beach that were about 18-20" at the base and 30-35'. On my rough trails one tree is all I would pull because on the uphill sections I sometimes loose traction. If there is a turn in the road I just cut the skidded log in half and hook up the two pieces because I don't want to damage the trees along the trail . It is amazing how much damage I can avoid that way. This method works for me because I only cut about 3-4 cords per year. I have pulled cedar logs that were about the same size two at the time but it was all blown down years ago, bone dry stuff.
