looking at a 2001 howse 7ft deck 7102 model. they are asking 1400.00 for it. no rust good shape. Is this a good price. 100 hp box

If it's a finishing mower, the price may be a little too high but not excessively high.
If it's a rotary cutter, it's definitely high (for a 9 year old cutter).

Find out what the price of new Howse mowers or cutters are, and you'll have a good idea about the asking price.

BTW, take a look under the unit before you buy. No rust on top might just mean fresh paint.

Seems a little high to me...of course I usually buy high and sell low. :mad: I would look around a little more. Here's a tip on a easy way to search. Open a google search window and in the search field type:

site:craigslist.org howse 7ft deck 7102 model

If it doesn't return any results start narrowing your search by deleting words like 7ft deck or the model number. This way you can see what people are selling their stuff for across the US.
