Best place to buy 5' box blade

Looking to buy a 5' box blade for my XJ2025, I haven't checked the dealer but do have a Tractor Supply close to me any decent places online that aren't a killer with shipping, thanks

What brand of tractor is an XJ2025? What tires are on it? Are tires air or liquid filled?

Well, I have no idea what an XJ2025 is, but a good place to start is your local dealer. Otherwise, there are dozens of box blades available thru on-line searching. What you get should depend upon what you expect to do with the box blade. Unless you plan to only use the unit for light duty jobs - I would suggest the heaviest unit your tractor can handle. Weight is your friend when using a box blade. Helps cut deeper, prevent chatter and less likely to be damaged.

I suggest you indicate the brand of tractor you have and the jobs you anticipate doing to receive more specific advice.

My local Atwoods store sells a 5' and 6' King Kutter branded BB that costs $580. It seems to be a good medium duty box blade. I have the 5' and it has good thick metal, pretty nice welds, and decent bracing (although I'd like to add a little more ti mine). It also has clevis style 3ph mounts instead of pins.

I bought my 5' KK at the local Rural King on a sale for just under $500. It has been great. I like the double blade feature for pulling or pushing.

Yes the tractor is a 2017 LS XJ2025 hydro, with R4 tires which are not filled yet but hopefully soon, i do have the backhoe for weight but obviously it wouldn't be on while using box blade

Google Blain's Farm & Fleet in Janesville Wisconsin.
They sell King Kutter box blades, have excellent pricing, and their shipping is VERY cheap.

Is there a benefit to having 5 ripper teeth as opposed to 4,, seems like more teeth the better to break up the ground , although I have mostly clay and rock so either way it's gonna be a tough go
