Best Place To Buy Filters?

I haven't started looking into the cost aspect of the filters. Do I need to make sure that I have a good heart when I do?

Don't expect to be much less shocked when you get the price on after market filters.
I bought a set of aftermarket filters for my b7200hst. Air filter was VERY expensive. I bought them because I wanted to do a filter change and the closest dealer is an hour drive. I checked their prices next time I was up there and I saved a whopping five dollars on 80 dollars worth of filters.
Comparing the two makes me wonder if I really saved anything at all.

Try here for air filters just cross reference your part number and they will give you a baldwin number.they even give a dealer list in your area. my L3000dts air filter from kubota costs around $32 bucks i get them from baldwin for $13.
i use wix oil filters and buy them from my local auto parts store. they to have a cross reference on their site.

Both companys filters are quality filters . i'm glad you reminded me it's time to get my summer time supply.

This question is a little off topic but related. While doing my 100 hr maintenance on my BX2200 it says to soak the air filter in detergent for 15 minutes, rinse it and let it air dry. Has anyone tried this? It looks like a paper filter to me. I am concerned that it may cause the filter element to deteriate. I didn't take a chance with mine, I replaced it. I think I paid about $11 for the filter from the local Kubota dealer.

I have found about the cheapest place to buy Kubota parts is at Tractorsmart . They ship very quickly and are easy to use.

Fleetgaurd also makes a full cross over filter for the botas. I use them on my all the time. The dealer that I bought the bota from is also the fleetguard and baldwin dealer. He stated that these filters meet all specs.
They are about 1/2 the cost.
