Buying Advice best tires for snow/plowing

I will be buying a new Kubota 4760 and want to get the best tire for traction on snow/winter plowing...( I assume most of the types would work well enough for me during the summer...except the R1's...too aggressive ) I have always run R4's but I have been looking around on the net and it seems there may be better alternatives... I have been chaining the fronts but would like to get away from that if possible. Any ideas/input would be most welcomed.

I’ve priced those tires for my machine (7060). I wish I could afford them. I’m considering screw in studs, pros and cons with those however....
I believe Michelin has a snow tire similar to the Nokian

Does anyone have experience with the Nokian tires? how would you rate them overall? traction on snow?

Add me to the list of people who would like more information on the Nokian tires - or something similar. My grooved R4's have done very well and may last for several more years, but the Nokians are still interesting. According to what I've seen, some Kubotas in Canada are available with them. Hate to have to change wheels to change the tires though.

I just took delivery of my new L6060 with the Nordic package and the Nokian tires, unbelievable traction on snow. Far far better than industrials.

If you can ‘parle en francais’, the Quebecois boys run those tires lots on their driveway cleaning rigs so they must be good. They’d be the ones to get a good opinion from! Lots of used machines for sale in Quebec with them installed as they flip and update tractors.
For the 7060, the set of tires was gonna run around $7000 cdn. And that was getting sizes to fit my rims.

thanks for all the good info. I am in the negotiation stage of a new tractor and have just posed the Nokian question to my dealer. I haven't heard back yet ... will post what I learn. Looks like it may be a pricey proposition....
