Best way to clean tractor

I'd stay away from pressure washing as a rule. Most dirt/mud/grease comes off with the degreasers/water after soaking. Ocassionally I used some dish detergent from a bucket and find that garden hose water pressure is sufficient. I routinely used compressed air for everyday cleaning. After wiping it down, some kinda wax would be nice. Rodent control is important as the Grunt noted and some might cover it with a cotton drop cloth to keep bird crapp, etc while in storage. Mike

I agree it would better to have a old machine that dont matter so much to make some tests with break cleaner

A soft cloth, a bucket of warm water with Dawn dish soap, and a strong wife will do wonders!:D

I also use a siphon sprayer. I don't know what it is actually called, but it is a compressed air spray gun with a second hose attached to it that you can put in the degreaser of your choice, and it will draw it up by a venturi effect and you will get a fairly powerful degreasing gun. Wear some sort of mask though because it will vaporize the liquid pretty well and you will be breathing it and it is pretty harsh. You also probably want to dilute it as well because it will use it up pretty fast.
