I just take delivery of a 2006 Kubota RTV 900 with 10 hours and I ordered some accessories:

V4210 Deluxe Cab
V4241 Throttle kit
V4219 HD springs
V4214A Heater
V4267 Wiper
V4215 Wiper
V4239 Work light
V4266 Rear mirror

For the snow plow, I choose the Blizzard for some reasons. It痴 very well design, everything gets out of the RTV when you remove the blade and it痴 easy to get out/ get in.

Now I have to choose the size of the blade, the 680LT (80"x 21.5") or the 720LT (86" x 23.5")

I believe the 680LT is enough because the Kubota blade is only 72" but anyone here as the chance to compare or use the 720LT?

For only 15 pounds more, I get 2 more height and 6 more width but I知 not sure the RTV 900 is able to move so much snow?

I have no experience with neither the RTV 900 nor the blizzard plow, but have done lots of snowplowing. I don't know where you are and how much snow may fall in your area but the challenge of plowing comes around midway through the winter for me when banks get high. Both the RTV-900 and my tractor weigh about the same (close to 2000lbs) and that is a significant weight but not much on the grand scale. The wider the plow the more snow it will push at one time but the sooner the machine will run out of traction. When the snow gets deep the plow will likely be pushing around the front end of the RTV and you will be traveling sideways instead of straight if the blade is angled. If you stay on top of it and plow before the snow gets more then 7-8" deep you will bee fine as long as it is not the heavy wet kind. If it is really wet then even a 4-5" snowfall can be more of a workout. When the banks are getting high enough and freeze into a solid mess there is little to nothing that one can do without a tractor or large pickup truck. If I were to buy a plow for that machine I would stay with the 72 or 80" options. The weight of the plow is more then likely adequate. I would suggest you buy chains for all four wheels and plow in LOW range. It will make a huge difference and that wonderful machine will make a dent very fast. I used to plow with an 450cc ATV that weighed 600lbs and used a 50" plow on it no chains. If I didn't adjust the skid shoes properly it would just dig the gravel up in my driveway. That plow only weighed about 100-120lbs. Now I use the loader and a 72" rear blade on my 4WD tractor for the same thing. It makes quick and easy work of the snow removal.
Check for the same topic in the RTV forums.

Great info Easygo.

I know snowplowing a little because I used to have an ATV Grizly 650 with a snowplow couple years ago.

Here in Canada, Eastern Townships, we experience huge snowfalls (sometime 24") so my neighbors will blow the snow in theses occasions.

My RTV900 is primary to put sand on the road because I have a 15% level on 1000 feet and sand is not an option. In second, I will plow the snowfalls up to 12".

The problem occurs when the snow banks are to high or frozen after wet snow and it's why I analyze the possibility to go with a Blizzard 86" blade in order to put the snow as far as possible from the road.

What helping me is your comment on your tractor with similar weight and equip with a 72" plow. If you tell me 72" is the maximum for the size and the smallest Blizzard blade is 80" so I will go with this one and forget the 86".
