Hi guys.

Would someone be able to tell me if the bobcat 331 D can provide at least 8 GPM in the auxiliary hydraulics while travelling ?

I would like to put a brush cutter or edge cutter on it.

Answer very much appreciated.

Regards

Do you know what the auxiliary hydraulic is rated to flowwhen the machine is stationary? My guess is you've got over 8 gpm stationary and will run your brush cutter fine but when traveling will slow the auxiliary flow and reduce the cutter performance substantially. I think for the most part these brush cutters are used while the machine is stationary and then move the machine to do the next swath. What are you planning to cut that you have to move the machine at the same time?

Thank you for your answer.

The stationary flow is rated at 16.4GPM on the auxiliary circuit.

The idea was to trim natural hedgerows that divide fields around here, i suppose it would have made it easier to cut straight i had been able to travel along the hedges.

I was wondering if the flow used by the travel motion was proportionnal to the speed travelled ?
