Bobcat CT230 7TL Loader Seal Kit

Been a long time since I posted, have plenty of does and don'ts for a Bobcat CT230 if any body has any questions. Having said that, does anyone know what the part # is for curl cylinder seal rebuild kit is by chance?

Have a Bobcat 763 and a John Deere 2955 if anyone has questions, happy to help.

The end cap on these cylinders are held on by a retaining clip, water gets in the clip hole and rusts. Sooo if anyone ever tackles this project, just know the end cap doesn’t screw on or off (it will break loose and spin freely), have to work the clip out and it’s a bear once rusted.

Ok kids, so the seal kit above wasn’t the correct one, discontinued for this particular year loader cylinder. Had to go to the hydro shop and get orings etc.

Anywho, Marion rings are what hold the cap on to the cylinder, do yourself a solid and soak ‘em in kroil overnight before attempting removal.

Bonus, when putting the wire back in, vice grips and the invention of new words, seal the hole with some rtv so water doesn’t get in again and rust your trap shut.

BTW Bobcat did lemme keep the wrong orings which I thought was a nice gesture for purchasing such a poorly designed cylinder for their moooooochines.
