Thankyou to everyone on this site. After a year of reading the post's on this site and lots of other research i have finally made a decision. Originally, I was sure that I wanted a Tc 33d or possibly a kubota 3010 or 3410, but after i saw the specs and read the info on the Kioti's I found myself completely confused. In my area there are only a few dealers who are not over 100 miles away. One dealer sells both JD& Kubota, another sells NH & Kubota. Both dealers were ok but not very helpfull. Their attitude was " this is the price take it or leave it". in some cases I knew more about the product than the salesperson. The Kioti dealer was very helpfull while on the phone as well as in person. he was also the only one who offered a demo drive at the lot. This dealer was knowledgeable and was also willing to work on the numbers as well as any changes or modifications to the tractor. To make a long story short, here is what I purchased. Dk 35, FEL, 60 " Kioti tiller, 72" rear discharge finish mower. R4 tires loaded. 20k delivered. This includes a rear remote. I also had the FEL control reversed so down is down and up is up. The foot throttle control is being moved to suit my long legs. I have 9 acres mostly field and dont think I will miss the hydro feature very much as I found the shuttle trans to be comfortable. The Kioti is built like a tank, anyone comparing the specs to other tractors can only be impressed by the quality and the price. My dealer, Northeast farm service in irasburg VT has at this point made me happy. I'll keep everyone posted as to delivery and pics.

With looking at the other colors... by chance what was the "dollar difference" between the other brands that made you settle on Kioti...?

The Dollar Difference was substanial in some cases. The best price i could get For a tc33d was 18,900 with a loader. The same dealer wanted 1995.00 for a 6 ft finish mower and another 1995.00 for the tiller. total=22,890. the kubota best deal was 18,290 for a 3010 & 19,900 for a 3410 both with glide shift and loaders. same price for implements. 22,280 & 23,890 were the totals. I realize that the NH was a hydro and to me the glide shift might as well be a shuttle shift. But those were the numbers. A tc35 was over 21k. The jd's were priced higher than the kubotas. I 've used a 4200 hydro quite alot from the rental company and was not happy with the amount of plastic on the unit or with the hydro pedal resistance under load. Also with any of the above tractors i was being charged extra for the remote hydraulics and r4 tires. none of them had draft control standard. As i said, I had my heart set on a tc33 or kubota but could not justify the price difference of the kioti when all the specs were compared.

Jb, your post were the ones that got me to look more closely at kioti's. I still cant get over the weight difference compared to similar tractors. Do you find that the foot throttle is in an uncomfortable location? Do you have any Kioti implements?

the dk 35 was 20k delivered with a kioti 6ft rear discharge mower, kioti 60" tiller. r4 tires-loaded. rear remote. kioti loader with HD bucket and chain hooks. The loader control was flipped over to allow for the control to be the same as the bucket direction. The foot throttle was modified for my long legs. saved several thousand.
