Hi All, Just wanted to share. I ordered the BucketSolutions, clamp on hitch. I really liked the design so I ordered it. I want to move my utility trailer, boat and camper around without pulling out my pickup. I chose this version mostly because of the sturdy T-handle, flat clamping foot, and the chain hook. Anyone have any experience with this product? I'm not going to use it to pull/tow heavy tongue weights or loads.
Thanks!:)

No experience with it, but how about a pic or link to it so we can see what you're talking about?

I'd be surprised if it really holds on well. I have used clamp-on forks, and they don't stay put worth a crap.

Have you thought about a trailer hitch receiver for the 3-point? Or do you leave the backhoe on all the time? I have used one on all my tractors, and it's great.

I bought a Bucket Solutions clamp on hitch for a previously owned BX2230. There are some problems, first I had to weld on an additional steel rod to keep the hitch from riding on the cutting edge of the bucket as the hitch is designed to clamp onto a thicker bucket. This helped stabilize the hitch some, but it will still want to shift sideways when maneuvering a heavier trailer. The other issue is that the hitch and ball carrier will have the ball sticking quite a ways in front of the bucket leading edge - - usable for lighter trailers, but this still exacerbates the clamp strength issue.

On my B3350, I welded a 2" receiver to the top of the bucket after reinforcing the top lip. This is useful for inserting a receiver mount tow hook, but for hitch use I had to make a drop down receiver to keep the bucket bottom off the ground when moving trailers. Also, welding on a 2" receiver, as I did, would get in the way of some grapple add-on's.

Thanks All, Not a glowing report and I was wondering about the side to side movement myself. I'm hoping it will let me at least move my trailers about the yard without the diesel pick-up, which is always a pain in the neck. When it comes, I'll follow up with my thoughts and some pics. Looks well made though.

Thanks...Woodskiff
