Hi folks!
Just bought an MT2801 with FEL and few implements.
My first post!!!
Great Forum and tons of information!

Foreign reader for many years, and very grateful for knowledge provided by so many members.
I am not very familiar to write in english ,so apologize for any funny or not so accurate vocabulary.

So, my main concern is that seems impossible to source digital workshop manual or parts list for my new tractor.Same for rotary tiller.

Will add photos!

Apart from new gearbox oil ,front differential oil and engine oil replacement ,few things need to get fixed.
3 point hitch lever is stiff and does not have a sweet spring motion.The rear implement is moving up and down , and the hitch keeps it fine at every position, but certainly smth is not working as should be.

Moreover there is a leak at FEL's front right cylinder. No experience with hydraylics in general so I may ask for tips and tricks on replacing the seal

Before driving for about 150 miles to check the tractor, was not really convinced about the exact type . Seller sold it as an mt28 ,but there was no match of the red color and the blue mitsu's on internet. Only mtx28 is red,however that's a 3 cyl 1300 cc .
Seller informed me that he hasn't fired it for 6 years. Was tarp covered for that time.
He added some engine oil ,filled its tank,new battery and all come to life again!
He let it idle a bit, checked fel movement, 3 point and pto .
Bottom of the tractor was excellent ,no leaks ,no black stains on concrete floor where beauty was sleepping for so long

To be more precise ,the color issue emerged AFTER my purchase,not PRIOR.
The mt-28 on tractordata is red but that is a 2010 tractor, and then the only -28 with a 90's scheme was mtx28.

But mine MT2801 unlike shown on tractordata on blue colors ,as well as on many google results ,is in red colors.

I hope and believe this is a "hard-core" japanese lad ,directly imported from japanese market.
There is a white marker inscription on both sides of engine hood ,and on both FEL main arms.

Using my S23 text-by-photo extractor function, I copy-pasted the japanese text.
Apparently the tractor was under Shindo perfecture civil services by the fiscal year 1986. Ok, I am not so sure about that,because the japanese ideograms make completely different meaning if there is a blank space between them or not.

I was hoping you would have gotten a picture of the 3pt linkage. I am thinking it may have a friction plate and you could adjust the resistance in movement.

As far as the leaking cylinder, around here you can take it to a hydraulic shop and they can rebuild it for not much more than the kit. Getting the gland cap off can sometimes be tricky. They also can size the seals and often times have what is needed in stock.
