Changed the fusible link that is located above the starter yesterday and for the first time in 3 years was able to cut 5 acres without having to stop and charge the battery numerous times. Maybe it was a fluke but that was only thing I did differently since trying to mow the day before and was only able to cut half an acre that day. The dealer is insisting that the fusible link has nothing to do with it and I agree that the schematics show that too, but it worked. I still have a short somewhere in the tail light circuit that is blowing the fuse and something that is draining the battery overnight. Sure wish Branson would have insulated their soldered connections rather than relying on the plastic wire cover which is deteriorating.

Had a machine shop straighten the bent cylinder rod, but still have the same issue. Have tried disconnecting the fittings and all appear to be working. Going to try K5lwq's suggestion and switches the hoses next.
