I'm about to more than likely acquire this tractor through a trade.
I've done lots of reading on here but have not found out what spec hydraulic oil is recommended. I'm not sure right now if I will have a manual or not. Person I'm doing the trade with is trying to get a manual and a second key.

This is what I've learned on here:

I will definitely buy Branson hydraulic filter
I believe I will need 15 or so gallons of hydraulic oil
I will run Shell Rotella synthetic which is what I run in my Duramax

I'm not sure where all the drain, screen, fills etc...are on this tractor but
I also have not seen it yet.

Can someone tell me what specs I should look for in the hydraulic oil?

I plan on cleaning everything, greasing, checking torque on everything,
blowing out radiator and air filter.

Has anyone put together a service recommendation on here including oils, locations etc...pictures perhaps...

Thanks for any help!

Can anyone tell me the specs on the hydraulic oil?
Dealer says it's different than the regular universal, says it's thicker. He told me it doesn't have to be the Branson oil but it does have to have the same
viscosity..
Now, the main parts at Branson says it simply has be a Universal that is Non foaming.
The dealer says the thinner stuff does not work well in the rear end and that the specific viscosity covers the bases.
The oil he sells is $48/5 gallons but I have to travel quite a distance to get it.
