Branson, new seat style

I've been looking at the new Branson 2810/3510 for a few months. I noticed they changed the seat. The new seat doesn't flip forward and even worse you loose about 2-3 inches of room because the new seat doesn't go back as far. I'm 6'2", 245 and feel sort of cramped.

My local dealer has one 3510 with the old style seat, but it has been sold. The old style seat is much more comfortable.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix for this?

It works well for people with shorter legs, but much worse for tall people. Branson is using up these seats and then we will see a change. A dealer can order a nice aftermarket suspension seat for you that would gain that space back.

Does Century have a suspension seat? I have a 2535 that gets real uncomfortable after a few hours. If I spend half a day in it, I'm in pain for a few days afterwords.

my century 3045 has a suspension seat but when I got it it didn't go up and down. I tried to get it working and found that one of the pins that is swivels on was frose up. Took it to the dealer and he swapped it for an other one but found out that several others on the lot were frose up also. It looked like when they welded the parts together that the heat took any lube out of the bushing and probably the salt coming accros the pond rusted it shut. I make sure mine gets oiled and it works fine now. So if yours don't go up and down check it out.

My new 2810 has a suspension seat on it which I like but it does lack legroom for my 6'2" frame. I cant say I ever saw the other style seat on the Branson or maybe I did and didnt notice?? Would an aftermarket unit actually have more backward adjustment? It would be good to get some more room between me and the shuttle shifter and forget about ever using the tilt wheel as anything but straight up is on my lap...
