Duly noted and will add to my "To Acquire" list. I am slowly building a tool collection.

And the wisdom to use it. Next broken zerk will take 90 seconds to fix.

Great observation and I'm afraid will prove true. I have a number of "one-off" tools that I bought to never endure again the painfull process i just went through and the tools are still new in the box. In fact, I think I have some stubby easy-outs specifically for broken grease zerks. Bought them maybe 15 years ago when I broke the last zerk. Oughta be a law.

Doesn't matter. He who dies with the most toys wins. :)

Or as a friend put it, it's not a real project if it doesn't require at least one new tool.

Some tools are like insurance...Gotta' have it, but hope you never have to use it again..!!
After restoring, rebuilding numerous old tractors, and hit & miss engines, I've gotten several repeat uses out of tools like those.

reminds me of the extension I got for my lug/breaker bar for my f450 dually. the dish is real deep in the back on the 19.5" rims, and I was always scratching the aluminum covers.. I got the extension 2ys ago and now have never used it.. :)
