Brought new GR2120 home today
Picked up the new GR2120 at 8:00am this morning. Traded in the old Deere LX188 + snowblower. Got snowblower for GR2120 too, but it is still in crate, that is my Thanksgiving project. Put 2 hours on it today, I am impressed. Power steering! This thing is easy to drive and rides so nice. Turning radius, unbelievable. Very nice quality, looking forward to many years and hours with it. Modifications to date:
1) Removed all those safety decals, nice orange paint underneath.
2) Added my own decals.
3) Disabled seat switch.
4) Disabled reverse mowing switch.
5) Idle speed was too low, resonating vibrations from factory setting of 1300 rpm. Set low idle speed at 1800 rpm, no vibration at low throttle now.
6) Added 6 ounces SUDT2 to front axle, low from factory.
Mowed grass, but was not high enough, can't wait for it to grow now!
