Buying a used Kubota in Ontario, Canada

What documents can one expect the owner to produce regarding ownership and loan payment/lien clearance?

This is a bit time sensitive. I'm inquiring for a friend.

You should likely be armed with Kubota Credit's phone number already in your cell phone.
The seller should provide you the loan number and his name, of course. You'll also need the serial number of the machine, I should think. You should be the one to talk to Kubota directly. That's my advice. Electronic transfer of funds can be done very quickly. The important thing, in my view, is you working directly with Kubota. "Hi, I'm buying this tractor". "Can you help me through this process?"

You will likely find the person at Kubota to be very helpful. Afterall, it's THEIR loan and they're going to be quite willing, I should think, to walk you through it. It's all good.

I've done this process twice, and it was very painless.
