I have a bx-2750c snowblower and have a question about operation. It has a hydraulic chute turner. With the snowblower in any position I can turn it counter clockwise ( with the blower raised ) To turn it clockwise the blower has to be on the ground with the stick forward in the float position. I do not remember this being a condition last year.
Any thoughts ? Is something out of adjustment ?
Thank You

Re-position your hoses coming from your blower on to your tractor fittings. On my Bx2370, my hoses are hooked up so that my joystick going forward drops the blower, pulling it back lifts the blower, moving it to the left moves the shoot to the left, and moving it to the right, and make sure it goes past the detent, moves it to the right. Are you moving your joystick past the detent position when you are trying to get it to move to the right ? You should feel the click once you have moved it far enough. Also, make you your hoses are fully connected onto the male connectors on your tractor. It wouldn,t hurt to disconnect them and then re-connected them again, once you have relieved the pressure on the tractor side connectors on the tractor side with the tractor off.

That is the way mine move.... even going past the detent the chute will not turn unless the blower is on the ground. I thought I read a lifetime ago that there was some adjustments on the joystick....
Thank you for your civil response.....

Try switching the two most outward cables with the inner two, and try it again. That might help isolate whether it is a problem on the snowblower side or the tractor side.

Sounds like an issue with the float or fast dump valving on the control valve.

Swap lines and functions etc. I bet the problem goes away. For starters, I would disconnect the lift cyclinder lines all together, and get the rotation running right.

If the up/down of the blower doesn’t have a float position it seems like the hoses are incorrectly installed.

The up / down works as it should..... push forward and it goes down pull back and it goes up..
When you push to the left the chute rotates to the left counterclockwise....
my problem is to make it turn right clockwise I have to have the blower on the ground,,, pushed forward If the blower is raised the chute will only turn to the left not to the right.

When turning to the right, you have to move the lever to the right enough to feel the float position there as well. When I first got my blower and installed everything, I had the same problem. I have never regained all the hair I lost while finally figuring out that I had to push to the right past the detent position to make my chute go to the right. Are you feeling the lever go passed the detent when you move the stick to the right while the tractor is running ? Turn up the rpms to 1500 just in case you aren,t getting enough fluid flow from some reason in that position. If that doesn,t work, flip the two cables to verify you don,t have a hydralic cylinder problem.

Where is the three point raise/lower control lever? If by chance it sticks in the up position, the loader hydraulics might be starving for fluid. Dad's BX2230 if the 3pt hangs up in the lift position, the loader does not move. Or the loader does not move at idle speeds. His BX2230 needs higher rpm's to use the loader. He does not have a snowblower for it. And yes I have had that "not pushing lever pass the detent to rotate the chute to the right" on my BX2230 snowblower. Jon
