jbecker,
Agreed. I'm not sure I understand why fel removal/ mounting is much of an issue. As stated before, I always "kick out" the bottom attachment points 5-10 degrees when dimounting the fel. If the attachments are out at the bottom a little, you just drive in, put a little pressure on the attachments as you actuate the boom down position on the fel valve, and it clicks into place ready to drop onto the bottom pins. Remember that the boom cylinders are connected hydraulically so if you are off a little and catch the attachment thats sticking out with the frame it will just spring back, and the other attachment arm will move forward. If you're that far off, just back up and re-align yourself with the fel. If its just a little out of square, a little push with the tractor will line it up. Shut off, hook up hydraulics, rotate the bucket out to seat the attachments, pop the pins in from the seat, and fold up the legs. On in 3 minutes tops. I probably did it 5 times this past weekend. It works for me! Hope this helps someone.

Granted I'm a new user of the BX FEL but I haven't had
a problem putting it on. Just removing it, Forgot those
stands :), had to do a little lifting. Thanks to those nice
neighbors who were around that afternoon

I did notice that my hoses seemed a bit short, I'll be calling
the dealer to discuss this with them. I should not have to fore
the hoses as much as I do. I have to bend one about 90 degrees
to get it to fit properly.

Overall it comes on and off real well.

Don't lift it off the bracket so far, it only takes an inch or so. Also, once lifted, if it seems tight, pull the tractor forward some.
When removing, I found these steps to be helpfull.

I have one hose on the 4-way valve on my BX-22 that is "tough" to deal with...they just didn't leave enough length on the portion coming from the valve to make the connector easy to work. When the service rep was out a few weeks ago, I asked about it. He indicated that they all were coming out that way and agreed it was a pain.

I don't know which hose you are talking about, but you might look at the routing of it. I had trouble getting my backhoe off last weekend (first time to try it). After it was off, I looked at the hoses coming from the hoe. The protective covers they put on are held with big cable ties. It just so happens where they put one of them prevented the hoses from comnig through the ring they are routed through far enough. I cut off the cable tie and then had a few more inches of slack, which made a huge difference.
