Kubota BX22
The new MMM for my 2 year old BX22 is 2 inches lower on the left side in both the raised and lowered positions. The Kubota "how to adjust" instructions don't help. There is not enough adjustment in the upper lift links to level the MMM (I have the right upper lift link as long as possible and the left upper lift link as short as possible and the MMM is still 2 inches lower on the left side). Is it possible that something is bent or twisted? When I look at the linkage it appears to me that the left rear lift link is lower than the right rear lift link. I'm about to take it apart to try to figure it out. Comments/suggestions from anyone who has experienced this would be appreciated.

My BX2200 deck is uneven as well however I have learned to live with it...dosen't affect the cut and I feel that monkying around with trying to "adjust" linkages may only make things worse......I believe that there were previous messages on this topic ...just do a search here to find the info.

There are 2 places to adjust the deck. In the front, the bracket that hangs the deck from the frame has an adjustment for each side. This is covered in some detail in the manual as I remember. The other set of adjustments are on the lifting arms at the rear of the deck. There is a rod that is on the right hand side from the rear to the lift arm assembly. Each of the two lift arms (the arms with the disconnect pins) has a threaded link joint near the pivot point. These can be adjusted to trim left-right level. It appears that you need to undo one end of the link and rotate it, kind of like a turnbuckle. Look underneith with the deck all the way down and you should see them.

When you adj the MMM, you measure the blades tips and not the deck. The level of the deck when it's raised is unimportant as there is only one adj for it in the raised position and this is the stop position and it's adjusted back at the 3PH lift rod.

If your MMM is the 60" then the self balancer may be out of adj.

The front links also have a specified adj and they should be close to what the manual indicates. They are mainly for the fore & aft adjustment but can cause a side to side misadustment if one side is ran down further than the other.

To have a bent lift link or lift rod would require hitting something pretty solidly.

Good luck
