BX2200
My BX2200 loader recently stopped moving up smoothly. I was pushing fallen branches out of a seasonal pond on my property and the loader suddenly did not want to go up unless I repeatedly pushed the joystick down.
It would å±*ump a couple of inches each time I tried to raise it. All of the other movements of the loader work fine it is just trying to raise the bucket which I am having problems.
I disconnected and reconnected all of the hoses, topped of the hydraulic fluid, and let the tractor run at a medium speed for 20 minutes while I checked for leaks in the system (found none). I then shut it off and moved the joystick around to release pressure.
Still, the loader does not want to go up!
What could it be?
:(

If you raise the loader and stretch a hydraulic line, the couplers fail. Even disconnecting and reconnectiong does not solve the problem.

You might need a new pair of couplers.

I had a similar situation on my 03 BX2200. I bought it used with 1180hrs. I found the hyd. oil had not been changes since new. After flushing the lines and changing the oil and filter then disassembled the control valve for cleaning and the problem was solved.

Reset the QD's or replace if bad.
