bx2200
I just purchased a bx2200 with the front end quick hitch. The snowblower attachment (2750) is on it. I would like to attach the rotary broom. What is the procedure to disconnect/reconnect. Need to know specific details to disconnect mid PTO. Thanks.

Hi David, :welcome: to TBN.

I don't have a blower. But for the mower, reach in to the back of the shaft. There is a collar that you must slide toward the front of the tractor about 1/2 inch and then there is a detent there that should lock in place. Once you do that, you should be able to wiggle the shaft and work it forward and off the splines. I have got to believe that the blower uses the same type of shaft and collar as the mower, but I've been wrong before.

What are you doing with the blower? Oh, man. You're way out in Seattle. :(

I'll give it a try, thanks! . The tractor is for our Cabin up at Snoqualmie Pass.
