BX2200 seat replacement

Anyone replace the seat on a BX2200? Mines a 2003 and the seat is all cracked and pealing. Time to find a replacement and thought I'd see what others have used. I haven't checked the hole spacing yet, but I saw both TSC and Northern Tool had some decent replacements.

My BX got the factory seat from my Grand L, which had been swapped out for one with armrests and was gathering dust on the shelf. Took some monkeying around to install but not all that bad. Nice improvement over the original BX seat. If you don't mind some tinkering, there are many seats to choose from. Probably would avoid one of those JD yellow seats, but only because the colors would clash.

I haven't done it yet but have been looking at the TSC seats. They have adjustable mounting holes, high Back folds forward or back to fit the operator, adjustable lumbar support, arm rests.
For the price I don't think you will find a nicer one. The TSC in nylon is $279.00 also available at family farm and home for $249.00. TSC also has a similar seat in vinyl for $199.00.
From my experience with hostler trucks at the rail yard the nylon will hold up much longer than vinyl but is not waterproof and will stain with grease etc.

I just put one of these on about 2 weeks ago. You'll have to elongate 2 of the holes in the bracket a tiny bit and there is a little clearance issue with the slider rails. You could either add a spacer or remove some plastic to make the seat fit flush on the bracket. I started to use a heat gun but ended up just removing a small section of plastic. Can't even tell.

Got this one from Messick's last spring. Easy bolt on, no drilling. Found the armrests online. Much better than original.

I replaced one for my Dad's BX2200. Years ago there was a replacement program for these seats with a much improved version. The first part number Messick's gave me was a bit cheaper, but didn't fit. The underside interfered with the original seat slider/support brackets. Had to go with the upgraded seat, which has a higher back and thicker seat cushion. It also accepts arms, which are purchased separately. Ended up buying the arms also. Significant improvement over stock.

Here's my notes I kept when researching back in Nov 15:
K1253-56100 $92.01 This is the replacement for the original, but not certain if it addresses the sliding forward issue. This did not work on my Dad's BX2200.

B1013 $149 Is the seat used years ago to fix the sliding forward problem and is known to solve it. This is the one worked! (This is a Wholegoods part number)

I ended up buying this seat from Seat warehouse. It fits perfectly with no modifications to the seat or the bracket and the seat slides as it should. It's 10x more comfortable then the original. It also came with new bolts and a map to tell you what holes to use. $124 total, no tax, free shipping

Didn't look to see if that was an option. I've never had armrests on a tractor, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing.
