BX2200 Tachometer

Does anyone know of an economical tach for the BX2200?

I used a tiny tach on my 2200 for years. Worked well. Make sure you clean paint off the fuel line where the sending unit attaches.

What they said, also the fuel line is 6mm so order the right transducer. My TinyTac has been working for at least 10 yrs. on my '01 BX.

I have one too and never look at it 99%of the time the engine is wide open. Not sure of your application but use the tractor for a bit and just listen to the engine.

I have been reading post that state the BX2200 reaches max torque at 2600 and drops as rpm goes up. Also, bought this used and max rpm sounds high (>3600). May have been adjusted by previous owner.

3067 rpm will give you 540 rpm at the PTO, wide open is about 3200 ish
