I have a BX2750 snow blower I am purchasing.
It has has a bad sprocket drive.

The bad parts are:

sprocket
chain
and driveshaft / sprocket.

Kubota parts didn't show one of the sprockets.

Are all 3 parts part of the BX2750 snow blower ?

I have to buy the rest of the parts to put this on my BX23 but I'm wondering if they include the drive shaft or sprocket.

If it is in that bad of shape I would wonder about the rest of the machine.

You better replace the drive shaft bearings while it is apart.

Did they say how the drive got torn up???

Mine is several years old and the drive looks new.

I'm not sure.

This was getting a little too complicated for me so I'm baking out of the whole snow blowing effort.

It's not like my Toyota pickup and it's plow is going anywhere.
Or that my Honda snow blower is going anywhere.

So, I think I'll hold onto my money and see what surfaces in the spring.

Sprockets and chain are common off the shelf items at any bearing supply house. Take your old ones with you and they will match them up for you.

How did you end up with the totalled snowblower?

Cwilliams:

I ran wanted add on craigslist and someone 10 miles away responded.
Last year the chain drive broke and parts were 5 weeks out so he bought a new blower (BX2750) because he didn't want to wait 5 weeks.

He had repaired his old blower and decided to sell it for $600.

I've been getting parts for it and just started putting it together.
I'm at the point where I have to take of the loaded and put the drive shaft and quick hitch on the tractor.

This happened to me on my BX2750 early on in my second season. The bolts that went through the snowblower came loose which hooked up to the shaft and bearings. They should have been carriage bolts but were not. This caused the chain not to ride right on the sprokets. The sprockets and chain where toast. All was fixed under warranty. So check your bolts every season for tightnest.:)

When I got the new parts the smaller socket was prewelded to it's drive shaft.

The original sprocket was pinned to the drive shaft.
