Guys,
I have a Kubota BX24. One of the safety switches is not reporting closed when in the starting position so the starter will not spin.
My understanding is that there are the following safety switched:
1) Treadle: to make sure the machine will not try to move when started.
2) PTO: must be in PTO NOT engaged (all the way to the back)
3) Neutral; must be set so trans is in neutral
4) Seat: someone must be in the seat
I think the one that is troubled is the PTO.
Have tried every combination of key-on jiggle I can think of. Not happening.
Tractor is currently in a place where the left rear wheel cannot be removed to work on the PTO switch.
How can I bypass that switch to get this fella started so it can be moved to a place to work on it?
Also, where can I get a reasonably priced downloaded service manual for this beast? I do not have one!
Thank you,
Mike Starling
