Hi Guys, this is my first tractor so I don't have any idea whats normal or not. I've had a few teething issues with my BX25 so not taking anything for granted.
Hoping you can tell me if your tractor is the same:
In normal operation when I move the loader in any direction, as soon as i release the lever there's a momentary kind of squeal noise heard from below and behind my seating position - some sort of pressure relief I assume. It's louder and more noticeable when you reach the end of travel in any direction. I'm assuming this is pretty normal and it doesn't sound like anything is wrong. Most of the time when I'm using the tractor and backhoe this is all I hear.
If I've been working the transmission hard though - eg doing FEL work, after about 20 mins this squeal starts to get really loud. It becomes really annoying and doesn't sound right to me. I tried recording it to play to service guy last time he was here but it doesn't capture very well on the phone, so he didnt seem too concerned, but didnt really get to hear it.
I'm wondering if its normal or a sign of a potential issue. It's due for it's 50 hour service soon. Based on a bit of searching here I did pull the strainer and couldn't see any clogging on it.
