Kubota BX-25D
2019 BX25D. Suddenly, yesterday, it stopped going. Would not go forward or backwards. The foot pedals move as they should. The front and rear buckets work normally. Checked fluid, it was a little low, so topped it off. Still no go. Looked underneath to check linkages, and from what I can see, all ok. The skid plate hinders seeing better. I can't really afford to take to the dealer. But if I knew what the problem was, most likely I could fix it, but don't know what to check. Any help as what to check would be most appreciated.

I would suspect the item 160 (rod) became disconnected at either end.

or the pin where it controls the swash plate at the HST unit.
Thanks for the reply. Nope, all linkages appear ok. Rod 160 goes back to another swivel (?) which moves freely. The forward and back pedals move like they always have; smoothly with the springs, almost like shock absorber is attached.
It's almost time for fluid change. I don't suppose a clogged filter would be a culprit ?

Sound like the Swash plate inside the HST is not moving. The linkage ends with pin 230 in item 220 Trunion arm on this page. If the pin is sheared or missing he shaft into the HST will not move, no motion of the tractor if that shaft is not turning.

BTW there is a "shock" in the linkage to smooth out inputs.

If the shaft inside the trunion arm is moving you are either in neutral (or between ranges) , the HST is hung in neutral (linkage for shifting) or it something internal.
Same problem in all ranges?

Make sure the range selector is actually in gear. I bought a B7200hst a few years ago that would randomly lose all motion, everyone thought it was an HST problem but ended up being a broken shift fork for the range selector letting the gear slide back and forth in and out of neutral.

Well, put me on the dumb guy list. The tractor was in neutral. I was moving some large limbs, and some brushed by me on the side of the tractor. Apparently one of them pushed the high/low lever, and because I never put it in neutral, so it didn't occur to me to check that. TMGT's referral about being in neutral, the tires spinning (they wouldn't if in gear), the foot pedals feeling normal, the buckets operating normally, all that made me look at the lever. Oh well, and away we go...
Thanks to all who replied.

Now I am going to have to check my BX2200. I don't think there is a neutral position, only rabbit or turtle.

But I have learned not to trust my memory as much as I used to!

There is a neutral, at one point the safety switches made you be there in order to start. 2nd switch I bypassed
