Opinions please...

My wife bought a gallon of it at the farm store (Husky brand) and I'm not too happy with it. While it's labelled 50:1 premix, it don't seem to run too well in my saws or trimmers.

Think I'll go back to my Marine Stabil laced premium gas with Stihl oil added.

Not sure of an advantage and the price is high...

I have no issues with the Tru Fuel brand and prefer it to ethanol laced gas.

To some, cost is not a factor but convenience is.

My Marine Stabil laced premium e-gas appears to store fine. I'm not sure I see any advantage in the canned stuff... It sure don't smell like gasoline either. Smells like paint thinner.

I have used some of it in my weed eater. My weed eater seems to run better on the 97 octane. I can only buy pump gas in 87 octane. My chainsaw and backpack blower are pretty thirsty, and it is regular 87 octane ethanol free for them. It would cost a fortune to feed a 72 cc saw and 65 cc blower the $20 dollar a gallon stuff. I can definitely see the advantage of it for the two tanks a year retired guy though.

I don't believe it is gasoline fwiw.

What it is excellent for, is for machines that are seldom used.

Someday I am going to buy some of the canned gas just because I can. Until then I pump high test gas in the truck for a minute and fill a 5 gallon can. Next with syn universal mix. Everything likes it from a 1050 Homelite chainsaw to a 440 Stihl.

I've bought quite a bit of it, ALL of my saws run REALLY good on it!

I purchased a can of 50:1 fuel mix branded Husqvarna. On their last chore of Fall before storage my two saws and two brush cutters were worked until dry, given a few ounces of the high priced stuff and worked dry again. But, I have no problem with drunken premium fuel and Stihl premium oil or Husqvarna premium oil. Then again, I have had no problem with same equipment run dry on drunken fuel and stored even several seasons without use. One good use for the canned fuel is to put a quart bottle of it in the hard bag of my touring motorcycle. That gives me about 10 miles on my bike if I run out (never have) and sure makes stranded fellow rides happy, until I tell them the replacement cost of those little bottles!

I've used Truefuel, Husqvarana brand, and stihl's motomix without issue. Unless you have really low use, I feel the premix too expensive to run year round, I use it for winter storage only. I drain and refill my equipment with the premix, run em a bit, then store for the winter. My Stihl KM130 and BR600 won't get any use from the end of leaf season until well into spring. Occasionally my 562XP will get pulled out to clean up some storm damage, but will otherwise sit. Have been doing it this was for several years now, they always start up nice and easy in the spring!
