Tires Car tires on my 1401D?

I'm down at my college right now so I can't go out and look at the rim/tire sizes on my Yanmar, so I was wondering if someone else could help - would it be possible to run some car/truck/"similar" tires on both the front and rear rims? I know I really wouldn't get much traction, and may not be the "best" idea, but I was just wondering if it was possible, and if someone knows what sizes would fit.

I have put large 16" truck tires on the rear. A Chevy 6 bolt truck rim will even fit with a few strokes of a rat tail file. Just stay below 50MPH and you won't even have to have them balanced.

I run car tires on the front of my YM2020. They don't tear up the ground like ribbed tires do.

Eddie, did you put the car tires on your existing rims and if so what size tire did you use? If you used wider rims, where did you get them? Thanks, Jack
