How are you guys carrying chains, chainsaws, gas/oil, etc? I see a couple of posts where chainsaws are being carried on top of the engine cover and a PT is towing a trailer, but what are the other ways you guys are using to at least carry a chain and saw from time to time?

Made a plywood sandwich to hold the saw and attached a 7MM ammo box to the back side to hold 20' of chain and misc tools.

As to gas and oil, those go behind the seat next to the BH console.

I carry some basic tools (arc joint pliers..Crescent wrench etc) under the seat as Kubota provided. Otherwise I hookup the Carry All with whatever is needed for a specific job...e.g. Pole Saw, Chain Saw. gas mix + chain oil, rake, rope or chain, etc. shovel and some water and candy bars.

Cheers,
Mike

I purchased a cheap ATV basket off of Amazon and mounted it to my ROPS. It doesn't interfere at all with my tiller or box blade travel and I have rear hydraulics for extra lift even. Works very well for carrying multiple chainsaws, fuel, chains, wedges, and anything else.

Wish I could answer your question, but I can't.

When I go into the woods, I nest my pallet forks inside my small toothed bucket, then nest that inside my large light material bucket. All saws, gas, chains, axe, etc go in there, too.

When you come up with something, I would love to see it. Like @MossRoad, I tend to put things in the bucket or chipper or tool that I'm taking out. I've been experimenting with what can be done with ABS drainpipe making chainsaw holders and guards, but nothing suitable for mounting on to the PT, yet.

All the best,

Peter

You young fellas piss me off.

After a full tank of fuel and bar oil cutting, I'm done!

I head back to the home place for a breather and replenishment. Call it a pace maker.... ;-)

I made square tubing based tool carriers for my tractors. Variety of tools depending on job. Woods work needs to carry tools safely. Any hook to carry a 5 gallon bucket helps too. All tractors could use a chain box.
