CASE DX33 (TC33DA) stalled as if I shut the key off

I was just moving a light pallet, the tractor was warmed up from slowly backing up my my new ballast box build and while moving forward slowly the tractor shut down. I wasn't like I was running out of fuel, it was more like I turned the key off. Any ideas?

I would have posted in the New Holland forum but that one is a little slow lately.

Sounds like the seat switch failed or came unplugged.
Were you able to get it started again. If not try jumping the switch plug temporarily.

Sorry forgot to mention that it started right back up, this is the second time it did this, the first time it I was not moving. I don't think the seat switch is working at all. Never tried ti get off the tractor with the PTO engaged but I know that I can get off the tractor while it is running with it shutting off. I know this is a stupid thing to do but I also used my hand on the hydro pedal while while hooking up the rear implement to bump the tractor back and it didn't shut off. When it did stall on me it did acted as if the seat switch just cut power. I will check the switch out tomorrow, are they known to stop working?

Seat switches on many tractors are known to fail but not sure now if that's your problem since it started right back up.
It does sound electrical though. One of the safeties may have a loose or poor connection. Ignition switches have been known to fail too. Check all your wiring for signs of mice chewing through wires.
