Case /IH utility 300 hydraulics pump

I bought utility300 and the hydraulic pump is bad ,inside casing some aluminium scratch so it doesn't give good pressure .My question is it worthed to have machine shop rebuilding .I did look inside and shaft ,gear ,bushing are very good only trouble are damage to inside alu.casing and loose in pully to drive the pump.Picture took.Wait for you input and experience ,thanks

Rarely to never is it cost effective to try and remachine the boars for gear pumps. You have to bore the oversize and then to get sleeve to fit tight enough so that it won’t spin.

looks like some cavitation issues may have started that damage.

Unfortunately your best option is try and source a replacement pump.

Thanks but it will come to expensive for a new pump $1000 plus taxes,plus shipment ,plus gasket etc this bring me close to $1200 for a tractor that i'll be using 10-20 hrs a years.It is aluminium .a good welder should be able to rebuild and remachine
