Nice price on the mags.. and ditto on filling them. I just picked up a romanian ak47 last week.. even at cheap 6$/20rnds.. the bananna clips on that sucker are gonna be spendy..

I have a hard time finding military or military-type rifles in my area. Most of the gun stores are hunting or handgun oriented. The only local one that carries any number of military arms is incredibly high (at least in my opinion).

On a slightly different note, do you have any opinion on the offerings from Kel-tec? I was looking at either the SU rifle (and now I can't remember if it is su-15 or su-16) or their small 9mm pistol. I've just seen them recently and don't know much about them.

Thanks again.

I have a keltec 32 auto as a backup carry / discrete carry gun.. I love it.. nice fit, feel, and function. if it's quality extends to their larger arms.. they should be good.

Find out if any of your local FFL's will accept transferes for a fee.. if so.. find some guns you want online.. like gunbroker.. etc.. and buy em and let your local ffl do the paper..

I recently bought a CETME 308. It works fine but really messes the brass up. Can you tell me if this is normal?
Thanks

crimp one side of the neck in? I see this alot when they extract and throw the brass on some 'battlefield' style milsurp rifles.

Thanks.
The crimp is about half way along the case - perpendicular to its length. There are also deep cuts in the brass (eight of them) the length of the brass casing. I have dissasembled the rifle and cleaned it and inspected the chamber and throat and cannot see anything that protrudes that would make these scratches.
With a very slight adjustment to the front sight ( was shooting high and right)
it seems to be pretty accurate. Charging the rifle is a bit new to me but not incredibly hard to do.

check to see if it has a fixed extractor notch / piece that flips the brass out the ejection port as the bolt blows back.. if so that can leave a mark down one side of the case.. also if ejecting and it hits the port it can dimple the side of the case..

Thanks
The ejector is a part of the trigger assembly that fits into a recess in the bolt. The spent brass is thrown up into the bottom of the operating rod and forward out of the port. I am wondering if the top lips on the magazine are doing the cutting. Do you suppose that taking a Dremel toll and fine sander and rounding off the topss of the magazine fingers would hurt anything?

The lines on the brass are due to the fact the rifle has a fluted chamber. Normal. As to the dent in the brass, again normal. HK did make a rubber brass deflector that should help with the denting.

If the two rollers don't lock into the reciever bolt area, it will be expelled from the rifle with force. This rifle was before the hk91 & G-3 configeration.Hence the fluted chambers ..Some of them were pretty nice rifles and some were not so well built by Century...
