Looked at the chainbox post a while back and really liked the idea but didn't want to put it on my fel so I came up with this idea. It is a box that I welded up out of scrap metal and fitted it on the rt side. It is held in place by the wt and a pin that slips into the window bracket. The pin is on a angle so when you drop the box in it hods it in place so it don't turn. very easy to take on and off. It also dosen't get in the way of getting on and off the tractor or and controls.

Leaddog, you have been busy accessorizing. There is a lot of room on the platform...seems like a good idea on your location. I read the chain box thread and put the pictures in my project dream folder....but have been thinking about where to mount them. You have given me another picture for my file. Thanks. I've got to get me a welder!

Thanks, Yes I have been trying to get a few things done while the weather is cold here. My next thing is making a place to store a pry bar. I was going to place a pipe on the fender to slide it in but I'm afraid with it being heavy it might cause metal fatigue so now I'm looking at puting a pipe in the cross pipe of the fel and storing it in there. I have a heavy 4ft bar and so many times a pry bar comes in handy so I really want one handy on the tractor. The cross pipe in the fel is 2-7/8in and about 36in long and I was looking today and I have a 2-1/2 in stainless pipe that I can slip inside it and am thinking of using that spray insulation to seal it in. I don't want to just let the bar slide inside the cross pipe cause it will tear the paint off and give it a place to rust. Still working on it in my mind. if anyone has a good idea please post it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
