Change exhaust routing on a Massey 245?

Wonder if you can at least have the muffler horizontal outside the cowling facing forward with a short vertical pipe and flap - like I had on my defunct Ford 851? My MF 245 is used for hunting trails and plots, so bushes and tree limbs are a real hazard. Was considering a below floorboard routing but I think you guys talked me out of that!

You can make the muffler face forward, it's a lot better than having it underneath you.

Massey made a 20C turf that is a 245 with a underbelly exhaust. If you could find one it would have all the parts you need.

Old thread. I have two MF 245s, one with a vertical exhaust and one with down-swept under the floorboard. The down-swept has no loader, no ROPs and is mostly my pasture mower and herbicide sprayer. Very handy to be able to go under any tree the cows do. I have flat land where that tractor is and don't pull anything with it, so I am not as worried about the lack of ROPs
