Mike it was bizarre. I was doing little jobs before catching some sleep. It was only the second night I have spent there. I had pulled about 8 screws around the perimeter of the washer dryer anrea and when that one came out it was a precision stream. I have a main shutoff 6 feet away that I turned off. Then I flushed both toilets to get the pressure out of the system. In 5 minutes I had the floor open and fans going. My fear was that it had been leaking for months. That was not the case. I will keep air flowing through Sunday. To dry and confirm the coupling is installed correctly.

OUCH....
When we leave either house, we cut off the water. Once I retire, I get to re-plumb our city house. Galvanized pipe from the early fifties.
