More than 40 over the years. Ten at any one time. Mostly Ford and New Holland
I quite realize there is nothing new to say in this regard so perhaps this is more of a reminder to myself as to others.

My daughter is in New York this morning for an interview. She just phoned to remind me that today would have been her mom’s fifty fifth birthday. (She passed away 14 years ago)

I’ll be grabbing some of her favourite flowers from the garden later this morning and heading to the cemetery.

Not much else to say. Cherish what you have...

A great reminder and sorry for your loss. I will do something special today because of what you posted -- thanks!

My Mom passed 14 years ago and there isn't a day go by that I didn't wish I could at least call her. Same with Dad, he's been gone for 8 years, lost a daughter 10 years ago.

Live each day like it's your last and never ever forget to tell all those you love just how much you love them.

I was just talking to another TBN member about some older retired guys that live in my neighborhood, and our other neighbors that I really like as if they were my family. We're out of town right now. Yesterday, one of them texted me to let me know his wife fell down the basement steps and died from a broken neck Thursday. :( We just talked to her that morning before we left.

Treat ever day like it means something, folks.

Just got a text from my wife that a lady from our church died. There are no guarantees. Even though it is the inevitable conclusion it comes way too soon for some.

A friend/former coworker died of cancer last week. He worked hard all of his life and was looking forward to enjoying his retirement with his grandkids; instead the disease caused him to get done early, and he spent the rest of the time fighting a losing battle.

Like most of us, over 50 let's say, we understand that we're just caretakers of the things we "think we have" here.
I've gotten to an age where I know more dead people than live ones now.
We're all just passing through and, Yes, there are some people we miss more than others.
Do I dwell on my memories?
Not really but then again there are a few that I might like to do again.
Others, I wished I hadn't done but would I do any of them differently?
Not really.
For I fear I wouldn't end up right exactly here and now.

For this, Friends, is one sweet life in one Gifted and Blessed country!
For the time being....
