Had the CK20HST out for a drive today (finally took my head out of the sand by looking at something other than the so called big three). Wow, /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif didn't even consider these as a comparison til today. Previously had TC24DA /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif for a test drive, very nice as well til price comparison to Kioti. In all fairness though /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I have to give Kubota a chance, probably 7510 or 7610. So far Kioti is cheaper by far. I didn't do any negotiating yet but prices quoted so far were as follows (I'm talking Can. dollars $1.40 = US $1.00)
TC21DA, HST, w/FEL $20,600 (US $14,714)
TC24DA, HST, w/FEL: $21,000 (US $15,000)
CK20HST, w/FEL $17,500 (US $12,500)
B7610HST, w/FEL $21,500 (US $15,357)
B7510HST, w/FEL $20,500 (US $14,650)
JD4115 HST w/FEL $24,000 (US $17,140)
I know some of these aren't direct competition to each other but I know that 15% and the quality that I've seen in the Kioti will probably sway me to the Kioti. I was hoping for a Kubota at heart as my B7200DT has served me very very well for the past 18 years but I feel its time to move to an HST as well as just a little more HP. I drove a TC30HST and looked at the B7800 but this size tractor is just a tad bigger than I will need and want. My Kioti/New Holland dealer is within 5 miles from home as well.
When I bought my Kubota new 18 years ago I was leary of the HST back then as I thought it wasn't proven to my liking at that time. In hind sight /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif, if this forum and internet were around then I may have been convinced otherwise as I am now. I'm not worried about resale value as after 18 years it has long since paid for itself. I wonder what a similar Kioti would be worth now if I had bought one then if one even existed that was similar to the B7200?
P.S. Just for wondering minds, I can almost get as much for my old Kubota as I paid for it new (C$ 11,000 w/FEL)
Hope this was some good reading for you all, I love this sight for info and research and especially all the different characters that provide input. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
