2006 Kioti CK30HST
Had the CK20HST out for a drive today (finally took my head out of the sand by looking at something other than the so called big three). Wow, /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif didn't even consider these as a comparison til today. Previously had TC24DA /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif for a test drive, very nice as well til price comparison to Kioti. In all fairness though /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I have to give Kubota a chance, probably 7510 or 7610. So far Kioti is cheaper by far. I didn't do any negotiating yet but prices quoted so far were as follows (I'm talking Can. dollars $1.40 = US $1.00)
TC21DA, HST, w/FEL $20,600 (US $14,714)
TC24DA, HST, w/FEL: $21,000 (US $15,000)
CK20HST, w/FEL $17,500 (US $12,500)
B7610HST, w/FEL $21,500 (US $15,357)
B7510HST, w/FEL $20,500 (US $14,650)
JD4115 HST w/FEL $24,000 (US $17,140)

I know some of these aren't direct competition to each other but I know that 15% and the quality that I've seen in the Kioti will probably sway me to the Kioti. I was hoping for a Kubota at heart as my B7200DT has served me very very well for the past 18 years but I feel its time to move to an HST as well as just a little more HP. I drove a TC30HST and looked at the B7800 but this size tractor is just a tad bigger than I will need and want. My Kioti/New Holland dealer is within 5 miles from home as well.
When I bought my Kubota new 18 years ago I was leary of the HST back then as I thought it wasn't proven to my liking at that time. In hind sight /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif, if this forum and internet were around then I may have been convinced otherwise as I am now. I'm not worried about resale value as after 18 years it has long since paid for itself. I wonder what a similar Kioti would be worth now if I had bought one then if one even existed that was similar to the B7200?
P.S. Just for wondering minds, I can almost get as much for my old Kubota as I paid for it new (C$ 11,000 w/FEL)
Hope this was some good reading for you all, I love this sight for info and research and especially all the different characters that provide input. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I am in the same position as you. After checking around quite a bit, I have narrowed it down to a B7510 and a CK20, both hydro with loaders. There is a about 900 dollar difference in prices between the two in my area. I will most likely get the Kioti. Not because it is bit less expensive, but because I like it better.
I like the Kubota too but the CK20 just "feels right" to me. It is a hard decision which is why I don't have either one yet /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Looks like you've done some pretty thorough research. I prefer the sloped hoods and curved arm loaders that the New Holland and Kioti have. You have the best of both worlds for curved arm loaders with a Kioti/New Holland dealer wrapped in one. The curved arms give an unobstructed view of the loader bucket. The Kioti CK20 has an 18" lift height advantage over the Kubota B75/7610 loader. The CK20 also has a 17" height advantage with the bucket dumped.

There all good choices. Good luck.

My options were down to the B7510 and B7610 when I found the Kioti CK20HST. A lesser price and higher weight and higher lift capacities, and the position control on the 3pt instead of a quarter inching system on the Kubota swayed me to the Kioti. I haven't had a regret at all. The Kubotas are VERY nice tractors, but so is the Kioti. John

Just went to the web site and checked out these machines. They look great. How long have these been out?
Has anyone seen a CK30HST? It looks like it gives the Deer 4210 size machines a run for the money.
The web site says them come standard with a front PTO. I'm familiar with rear and mid PTOs, what is a front PTO?

The CK20's have been out for about one year. A note on the Bucket size for the CK20. It's available in 48" and 54". If your not limited by width constraints go with the 54". It increases the visibility outside the loader arms by about 3" on each side plus the bigger volume bucket.

The wheel base on the CK30 is one inch longer than the 4210. The 4210 has smaller tires. The 4310 has the same size tires as the CK30.

A front PTO is an extension of the crankshaft out the front of the engine.

Does your loader have some type of level indicator on it? I didn't see one on the CK20 I drove yesterday. I couldn't see whether the bucket was level or not without leaning out to the side to see. I think if there had been a 54" bucket instead of the 48"it may have been easier to see.

Steve:

That was my reaction when I first saw the CK20 and then got the price!! Even though I had to wait for my Back Hoe, I never regretted getting my Kioti for one second. It's a great machine. Enjoy and keep us posted.

As for the "quote" above, "Nothing Runs Like A Deere when a Kioti is hunting it". G

Gerard,
If you don't mine me asking, how much was the backhoe attachment? Is it a 3PH mount or does it have a subframe, if so (subframe), does it stay attached to the tractor when the hoe is removed? If it remains attached, how much ground clearance do you loose with the subframe on?

Thanks Steve

There was some previous posting about the bucket level indicator and the CK20 did not have one. With the 54" bucket both ends are clearly in site.

Dewave had posted a pictorial of how the back hoe mounts. The subframe comes off with the hoe. Check Dewaves pictures here.
