lol... I hope you know my post was made in jest. But it's always interesting to see what folks have in other countries. I spent on time on the Iberian peninsula this past summer, where Carhartt is sold in expensive boutique stores, and treated like expensive street wear. Go figure!

Here, it's almost the official uniform of almost anyone who spends half their life under a truck or tractor, and the other half operating said machinery.

I'll be coming around to punch a hole in the man card of every person here, who doesn't know their Carhartt jacket size, or have one hanging in the closet already to grab a size from. Tell me you don't have at least one Carhartt or Dickies jacket or coveralls, and I might even take your tractor keys away!

Still a good prize, since at least some of mine are so dirty or torn, they're not fit for wearing out in public anymore.

LOL I probably have at least 7-9 Carhartt coats/jackets, two insulated vests, insulated and uninsulated bibs, long and short sleeve in every color and matching hooded sweatshirts. Also a few flannels as well. If I am not at work, I am in a Carhartt. In cold weather, I much prefer a hooded sweatshirt and an insulated vest vs a jacket. This setup keeps me warm while giving full movement of my arms for work. Carhartt just makes good stuff that wears well.

My Carhartt jacket had served me will over the years, but it's getting a bit worn and stained. One of my plow customers called it "legit" and I think a beat up work Carhartt is now a fashion statement.
Anyone looking for some really tough work pants, try the Carhartt Steel Cargo pants. Double and in some places triple layered with pockets for optional knee pads. I cycle through 3 pairs, and wear them almost exclusively... Wife and adult daughter think i dress like a bore, and a neighbor dressed up as me for Halloween last year!

Always wanted the firehose pants, but never on sale, and now, they don't make a 36 length, common complaint.

My wife has bought me the firehouse pants. I have 5-6 pair. 2 pair I keep for 'better' going to town wear. Wifey gets an email from them when items go on sale throughout the year.

Thanks, They don't make 36" length on style I want. Very common complaint with them. On sale or clearance are oddball sizes and colors I don't want.

I started wearing their work/dress shirt this year. They are just as warm as their thick flannel shirts. I think the 3 chest pockets plus a pencil slot was a great decision. Navy blue for me.
